Inspiration

Traditional methods such as radio collars and GPS tags to monitor wildlife: data loss lack of real-time tracking potential for tampering

What it does

For wildlife tracking, this means that every piece of data on an animal's location, health, and movement can be securely recorded and accessed in real-time by conservationists worldwide.

How we built it

Utilized Java in Eclipse IDE to create a Blockchain interface. The system allows users to input name, action, and times seen. Upon pressing 'add', this data is displayed graphically on the interface. Users have the option to hide or show this added information as needed. When the 'hashcheck' feature is activated, the system displays the entered data, a standard output value, and the current hash. This process runs repeatedly until it reaches a hash beginning with '0000', revealing the current nonce value.

Challenges we ran into

Implementing the Blockchain interface into the main interface.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Succesfully got a working interface and connected everything.

What we learned

Learned about the necessity of Blockchain technology when keeping any information.

What's next for Revolutionizing Wildlife Tracking with Blockchain Technology

Create a more detailed analysis of tracking, along with better UI.
