Inspiration: I saw scarcity of water and electricity. I realized how much of water and electricity getting wasted in the society. Which eventually will cause shortage of water and electricity.
What it does: The application will smartly track the water and electricity consumption on daily, hourly basis. I will also have an visual representation in form of dashboard.
How we built it: I used MERN stack to develop it. Along with IOT sensors.
Challenges we ran into: Lack of old data making a challenge to predict the future consumption of the user.
Accomplishments that we're proud of: Successfully making the app work.
What we learned: My skills for MERN were brushed up and also earned how IoT works.
What's next for Water and Electricity app: Planning to install the whole system in my friends and relatives house to check what challenges we will face and then launch it in market for public use.
