Inspiration

The inspiration for this project came when I had a chance to cross different valleys and mountains in India and it has been their in my mind for about past 4 years, seeing the beauty of mountains , the river running just made me fall for them and when I reached college their are people with the same mindset they Love them too and fortunately one of my friend has this Tour and Travelling company called Raabta Stories which is actually a community for mountaineer keep me going with this idea and later I realized the need of a single portal for travelling community to interact and hence "The Mountaineer" is born.

What it does

It is actually a unique way of keeping people who Loves to travel in a loop and interactive as an community and this website provides an platform to all the travelers to share a common traveling schedule and much more. It has the following Basic Functionality : -Login For Community People and Registration for New Community members -Schedule for all Upcoming Tours -Community Member one to many and one to one interaction. and many more things.

How I built it

The project entirely relies on the wonders of Webflow, it is an awesome in-browser tool that gives you the power to design, build, and launch responsive websites visually, other than Webflow I have used Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator to create different design and illustrations.

Challenges I ran into

I faced issues because I had never worked with tool like webflow but the webflow university is such a good resource for any learner to learn everything about webflow and it's much fun then challenge to work on this project.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Putting this site online and making it work!! The video will give you the sense of everything how i did it and make it proper working.

What I learned

I learned a lot about Webflow - from Webflow university is just a great resource, webflow a great platform and applying my graphic designing concept just brushed up my previous knowledge.

What's next for The Mountaineer

The Mountaineer is just a prototype of what the idea of travelling mean for a traveler, we want to became the widest and most successful travelling community and we will work on it later we will be designing the same for mobile and other screens also chat and interaction applications are also in the plan.
