Inspiration

University students feeling lost and unorganized during their time here.

What it does

Supports student by providing checklists and assignment list to help keep track with academic side of things while providing live updates on current events happening on campus as a way for students to relax with their friends that are also currently on campus.

How we built it

Using the google map API , we added custom icons and descriptions. We used HTML , CSS and JavaScript to create a board that is relaxing to look at where they can open the functionalities they require at the moment.

Challenges we ran into

Arrangement of elements of the main webpage and initial setting up of API.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Despite being beginners to web development we are happy we managed to create some of functionalities during this short period of time and we celebrate it as this is our first project.

What we learned

That creating websites is a lot harder than it looks. Time management and proper planning in development is very important as simple functions can take time especially with limited experience

What's next for Study Board

Get sponsored by google so our google map api trial does not expire for us to complete all of the other functionalities on google map like adding live location of other students and the ability to actually add friends during their time at uni !
