Stone is an interactive notes app for both Android and iOS. It uses google maps and the gps on one's phone to allow users to stop and drop messages where they stand. Other users of the app can then see these notes and rate them up or down. We also integrated a friends system so that if a marker is left by a friend, it will show up in a different color. The back end for this app is MongoDB and NodeJS, which is used to hold all the marker data as well as friend lists and send information to clients, while the front end is done in java for Android and Objective-C for iOS.
