Inspiration

The inspiration behind Scholar Knot stemmed from the desire to foster a vibrant and interconnected research community. As a scholar and researcher, I recognized the immense value of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and cross-pollination of ideas. However, existing platforms often fell short in facilitating meaningful connections and seamless communication among academics from diverse fields.

What it does

Scholar Knot is a comprehensive online platform that enables researchers and scholars to showcase their work, connect with like-minded individuals, and engage in thought-provoking discussions. It serves as a central hub where users can create detailed profiles, share their research projects, publications, and ongoing work. Additionally, Scholar Knot facilitates communication by allowing users to discuss and share their projects with others.

How I built it

To build Scholar Knot, I leveraged a modern tech stack, including React for the front-end, Node.js for the back-end, and MongoDB for the database. I implemented robust authentication and authorization mechanisms to ensure data privacy and security. Furthermore, I integrated various APIs and third-party services to enhance the platform's functionality, such as real-time notifications and file sharing.
