Puzzle Game

This project consists of a puzzle game where players solve a shuffled grid of an image by sliding the tiles. The application generates customizable grids from given images and different difficulties

We wanted to do something fun, so we decided to build a game and add to it some personalization features. The game we came up with, is the Eight-Puzzle Game.

The game generates a random grid from three to five tiles per side, depending on the choosen difficulty. You can also choose the displayed image. Slide the tiles and complete the original image to win the game!

We built this awesome software application with java. For most the our members of the group, this was our first java application, and we learned a lot by doing it. We had some difficulties at the begining to understand how to make java work. Most of our challenges where front-end related, like displaying the images in the right position and having a nice layout.
