Inspiration

Our inspiration for PumpOnTron stemmed from observing the explosive growth of meme token trading platforms on other blockchains, such as pump.fun on the Solana network. We recognized the potential to bring this exciting concept to the Tron ecosystem, providing users with a decentralized platform to create and trade meme tokens in a fair and transparent manner.

What it does

PumpOnTron is a decentralized application (DApp) built on the Tron blockchain that enables users to create, list, and trade meme tokens using a bonding curve mechanism. Through our platform, users can participate in the creation and speculation of meme tokens inspired by internet culture and memes, without the need for high liquidity provisions. Additionally, PumpOnTron integrates with the Just.money DEX, facilitating seamless liquidity addition and trading of meme tokens once specific market cap thresholds are reached.

How we built it

We built PumpOnTron using a combination of smart contract development on the Tron blockchain and frontend development for the DApp interface. Our team leveraged Tron's robust blockchain infrastructure and tools to implement core smart contracts for meme token creation, bonding curve trading, and integration with the Just.money DEX. For the frontend, we focused on creating a user-friendly interface that simplifies the process of meme token creation, listing, and trading, ensuring a seamless experience for our users.

Challenges we ran into

Throughout the development of PumpOnTron, we encountered several challenges that required innovative solutions. One significant challenge was designing and implementing the bonding curve mechanism to ensure efficient and fair token trading while maintaining stability and liquidity. Additionally, integrating with external protocols like the Just.money DEX posed technical challenges that required careful testing.
