After years of struggles, watching ourselves and our peers struggle to get access to mental health services, we knew there had to be a better way. We built our project with a team of four, leveraging our combined skillsets to combine gamification, communities, and an AI coach. First, we built an architecture plan and business plan, giving us a guide and structure to work from. Then, we started building, connecting to firebase and building out our initial pages of our app. We struggled with developing UX designs, and various errors involved with authentification, however quickly reacted and overcame the issues. We wanted to implement blockchain and ICP, which came to fruition nicely, enhancing our data and security within our app - something we've always aimed to do. This project taught each team member so much and will undoubtedly help people work through their specific mental health struggles.
