Inspiration
Since we're all going into university in the fall, we started thinking about some difficulties we might have. PantryPal is an "app" that is meant to accompany you and help you cook.
What it does
It has a Cat Pal who the user can interact with and the user can input ingredients they have in their home and PantryPal outputs a few possible recipes they can make.
How we built it
We used Python to create the graphical interface and initially used Java to create the software to find recipes from the ingredients.
Challenges we ran into
Figuring out the sorting mechanism, Pygame is difficult integrating Java code into Python, getting Git to commit code, time restrictions.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We've made a full working interface, successfully translating Java to Python
What we learned
Use the same language for everything, proper cooperation

Implementation of AI (more recipes + ingredients), cat customization
