Inspiration

NOTE - OUR PROJECT IS VISIBLE IN THE TWO GOOGLE DRIVE LINKS AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE. One of our major inspirations was Among Us, a detective game where one has to seek out the murderers. Additionally, we were inspired by a classic board game we all love, Clue.

What it does

It is a Murder Mystery game where the player has to use critical thinking to solve the crimes. One requires to think in terms of probability and formulate a hypothesis based off of evidence.

How we built it

We built this game utilizing 2D Unity, coding it with C#.

Challenges we ran into

It was challenging to develop our unique retro-style characters, but it looked great after hours of work. Additionally, we faced many bugs as it was our first time utilizing this software, but we persevered and were able to create a finished product.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Honestly, we are just proud to finish because there were many moments where giving up felt like an appealing option. We are also proud of the algorithm we created to generate various different input cases.

What we learned

We learned basic skills with Unity and C#. Most importantly, we learned that that it is important to keep trying when everything is failing because things will eventually get better when you keep working hard.

What's next for Murder of Adam the Apple

We will expand on our game by creating more levels to make the game more interesting. Additionally, we will reach out to other developers to create projects with them.
