Inspiration

Avi's expertise in finance and Liam's struggle with budgeting due to inflation inspired us to develop Mergen.

What it does

Mergen converts financial data into conversational AI, providing personalized insights and budgeting assistance.

How we built it

We utilized machine learning to vectorize financial data and developed a conversational interface using natural language processing. Due to time constraints, we had to delegate certain tasks, such as obtaining public tokens and vectorizing transactions, to manual processes. Additionally, we faced challenges in obtaining real Plaid data, so we used Avi's Rocket Money data for AI training.
