Inspiration
Maatri was inspired by the desire to solve worldwide concerns in maternal health. A complete web program for maternal health services was developed in response to high rates of maternal death, particularly in underprivileged neighborhoods. It offers expectant and new moms individualized.
What it does
A variety of maternal health services, such as prenatal and postnatal care, medical consultations, educational materials, appointment scheduling, and community support elements, are provided by the Maatri web application. It seeks to provide women with information, enable prompt medical interventions, and provide a network of support for maternal health.
How we built it
Modern web development tools, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks for responsive design like Bootstrap were used to create Maatri. Languages like Java and JavaScript were used to construct the backend, along with frameworks like and Spring Boot. In order to safely retain user data, we connected databases and added functions like user authentication, live video consultation, event view.
Challenges we ran into
While creating Maatri, we ran across a number of obstacles, such as: Including capabilities for real-time communication to promote community involvement enhancing the user experience across a range of devices and user demographics Creating an interface that is simple to use and intuitive to navigate Scaling the program to accommodate prospective increases in the number of users and volume of data
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Developed a user-friendly and accessible application catering to mothers of diverse backgrounds. Contributed to a more informed and empowered motherhood experience.
What we learned
Maatri's evolution has taught us important insights about: The value of iterative feedback and user-centric design The complexity of integrating and adhering to healthcare technology The role that community involvement plays in enhancing health outcomes The difficulties and possibilities of resolving worldwide disparities in maternal health The ability of technology to change the outcomes and delivery of maternity healthcare
What's next for Maatri (Maternal Health Service Web Application)
Update the program often in response to user input and changing requirements. Extend alliances with medical providers in order to reach more people. Integrate extra services (such community forums and telemedicine consultations) to empower moms even more as they navigate parenting. Examine how data analysis can be used to support better public health initiatives.
