Inspiration
Tons of information on the stock market and it's trends are available to us. Moreover, with the onset of AI, we can put this information to the best use. My inspiration was to make use of the sheer depth of opportunities that AI brings to better our predictions and thereby our decisions.
What it does
The app allows you to input the particulars of the stock that you are looking to invest in and generates the most probable scenario along with the success rate of the investment in that particular scenario. Furthermore, it allows you to play with the factors that affect your investment and see how it will play out in different scenarios in the coming future.
How we built it
The app was built in streamlit using python code.
Challenges we ran into
The main challenge I faced was in trying to understand the method to integrate Snowflake Arctic with Streamlit. Moreover, I was also stuck on how to provide relevant data for the app to understand trends of the investment being made. Providing a URL to a CSV file was not possible since such files are not available online for easy use. Hence, I decided to provide an option to allow users to download CSV files into their systems and select these to feed into the app to generate the required graphs and trends.

What's next for Invest or Not
I hope to be able to leverage the use of Snowflake Arctic to allow the app to give a proper analysis of all scenarios possible in a quick manner.
