Inspiration
The difficulties that we encounter trying to make friends throughout our journey was the inspiration for this web application.
What it does
Given a flight by the user ,We propose certain accomodations based on his interests.Then based on the acomodation and the interests of the user,we propose global events and groups of people who share the same interests .It facilitates IRL events to meet and hangout with different people.
How we built it
Web application created with vuejs and using the ticketmaster API to retrieve events and attractions that are relevant to the user's interests
Challenges we ran into
The dataset did not contain initially the interests of the user and later was not compatible with the API that we decided to use.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We proposed to add a new column in our dataset to suit our needs but it was later on proposed by the Team itself so We felt that we were on the right track.

We learned how to implement Use friendly on boarding experience. Discovering and then Mastering Ticketmaster API and VueJS
What's next for HOP!
Integrate more APIs such as booking and Events. Create a chat integrated in the application to facilitate communication between newly formed groups.
