Inspiration

We wanted to do something related to cloud and data so we choose to use IoT.

What it does

It consists on a sensor that sends information in real time to Grafana allowing users to see the information in a dashboard.

How we built it

Using the ESP32, we experimented with some sensors trying to choose which could be the optimal and trying to send the data to the grafana dashboard.

Challenges we ran into

Configuring the ESP32 that had some problems like the fact that the Wifi module didn't work. The hardware was really cheap and a lot of feathures did not work.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Configuring and knowing how the ESP32 works. Also the data transmision that worked properly and save that was the main point to make it work.

What we learned

Hardware challenges and the difficulty of working with a rare cheap one.

What's next for heartbeat

Make it more functional and with more sensors that can mesure different vital constants.
