The tedious hours spent making semesterly schedules by hand.
What it does
Automatically creates a google schedule using information parsed form given pdf files.
How we built it
Using flask frameowrk, python, html, css, javascript for the code. Alongside other tools such as API's and google cloud.
Challenges we ran into
Figuring out how to properly use google cloud and the google calendar API. Putting together a website without much experience beforehand.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Being able to consistently work through our problems and accomplish everything we wanted to. And creating a program that has a real world practical use benefitting students such as ourselves.
What we learned
We gained a great amount of experience in how to develop the front and back end of a website. More specifically some of us got more familiar with html and css, where others learned more about flask and api's.
What's next for GoStudy
A future goal for GoStudy could be a less specific tool, it could become an all around website that students go to to not only create calendars but streamline their learning in other various ways.
