FitGrid leverages the Green Button and BPD APIs to generate a simple, meaningful index that plots a household's energy performance against that of similar households in its zipcode.
It operates on the paradigms of "energy fitness" and "energy gluttony" and incentivizes energy fitness and a general awareness of the best practices when it comes to residential energy use.
Regrettably, we weren't able to have a demo ready by the submission time, but we highly encourage any interested parties to participate in this project.
