Inspiration
Easy Trader aims to revolutionize the way small-scale businesses market themselves and engage with their customers. By leveraging technology such as Google Gemini, square payment API, text-to-speech, and text-to-image features, Easy Trader empowers businesses to thrive in their local communities while reaching a global audience.
What it does
Easy Trader facilitates item uploading, purchases, and seamless interactions between buyers and sellers. It integrates various features to enhance brand promotion and customer engagement, ultimately fostering stronger connections between businesses and users.
How we built it
Easy Trader was primarily built using Flutter for the front end and Firebase for authentication and backend services. We utilized google Gemini for the generation of text from prompts, Square payment API for seamless transactions, and implemented text-to-speech and text-to-image features to enhance user experience.
Challenges we ran into
One of the challenges we encountered was integrating all the desired features seamlessly while ensuring a smooth user experience. We also faced challenges in optimizing performance and ensuring security in payment transactions.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud to have developed a comprehensive mobile application that addresses the marketing needs of small-scale businesses while providing users with a seamless shopping experience. Additionally, we're proud of integrating advanced features like text-to-speech and text-to-image, enhancing the app's functionality.
What we learned
During the development process, we gained valuable insights into mobile app development, including UI/UX design, backend integration, and payment processing. We also learned about the importance of user feedback and iteration in improving the app's functionality.
