Inspiration

Many people seem to have forgotten the importance of our earth and the free benefits it provides such as the soil which helps us grow food

These days people are only interested in entertainment which comes in the form of mobile games

Over 3 billion people are playing mobile game

Built this app hoping that people also understand the importance of soil health while having fun

What it does

Implemented a snakes (earthworms) and ladders game

At various steps, we get an infographic which shows the various important aspects of soil

Only 30 steps to cover, with the dice letting us take either one or two steps at a time

There is a pledge at step 29 which says that the player will take care of the soil around themselves and so on

How we built it

The main content is built using HTML, CSS and Javascript

Then, using Webview for Flutter, it is displayed as it is on the app screen

Challenges we ran into

In order to use Webview, we had to enable internet permissions for proper usage of the app

This app or project is presented in a seminar held by FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization) of the UN
