Inspiration The inspiration for ChoiceAI stemmed from witnessing the struggles individuals face when confronted with decision-making dilemmas. Starting from "which car to buy - electric or hybrid" till "Should I move to France or Kazakhstan because of job change in IT field" and even fun ones like "gift to my wife kitchen blender or necklace". We observed how these situations often lead to stress, indecision, procrastination, missed opportunities and time consume. Our goal was to create a solution that combines AI with user input to activate the decision-making. The combination of both is strong value - AI knowledge base and user specific information which AI sometimes may not be up to date - for example - new regulation is soon going to pass about usage of electric cars or "i actually worked in this company recently and please don't work there because ...".
What it does ChoiceAI is an app designed to assist users in making decisions by presenting them with two options and leveraging both AI algorithms and user input to provide personalized recommendations based on pros and cons for each decision. Users can select their choices, and the app analyzes their preferences for the author to offer tailored suggestions, and final users + AI summary ultimately aiding in decision-making.
How we built it We built ChoiceAI using a combination of advanced machine learning algorithms and intuitive user interface design. The backend utilizes AI model to analyze user preferences and generate recommendations, while the frontend was crafted to provide a seamless and user-friendly experience. We employed agile development methodologies, allowing for iterative improvements throughout the project lifecycle.
Challenges we ran into One of the main challenges we encountered was fine-tuning the AI algorithms to accurately interpret user preferences and add extra value. Additionally, ensuring the privacy and security of user data posed significant challenges that required robust encryption protocols and stringent data handling practices.
Accomplishments that we're proud of We are proud to develop ChoiceAI with very good productivity and work style and definitely not without motivation. In very short time - 2 days, we already see potential of this application, did significant coding work and in discussions decided about additional things how to develop it further.
What we learned Through the development we gained insights into the complexities of integrating AI technology with user-centric design. We learned the importance of balancing algorithmic complexity with real-time performance and the significance of prioritizing user privacy and security, as it plays role in what kind of decisions users can ask for audience. We learned how to look at our application from business perspective - many options it provides to engage companies to test/advertise their products.
What's next for ChoiceAI In the future, we aim to further enhance feature set and improve AI algorithms to provide more personalized recommendations. We will extend the user profile with more engaging decision tracks, summaries and will add personalisation to enhance productivity and let the decision process make more sense and add actual value to the user daily life improvement. Involve companies with new advertising approaches - they can test their new products and advertise as such. Additionally, we will continue to prioritize user privacy and security, implementing any necessary updates to maintain the trust of our users.
