Braille electromecanical display

Inspiration

We asked people what bothered them in FGC trains and many pointed the lack of aids to help people with discapacities. We thought of getting It to blind or blind and deaf people.

What it does

Use of braille electromechanical switches controled vía software to elevate the pins individually to provide station info, line and zone

How we built it

We built a prototype in arduino online simulator.

Challenges we ran into

Controlling multiple switches with software

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We finally managed to find the ways to actually control individual switches and make the system show a demo of a few letters.
