What it does

This application facilitates user engagement by initiating conversation itself. The conversations are then stored as a digital record of interactions, functioning as a personal memory bank. Furthermore, the application serves as a comprehensive reminder system, prompting users about tasks and events upon request. Additionally, it possesses the capability to store and manage relationship information for various individuals.

How we built it

This application was meticulously crafted utilizing Dart, a high-performing programming language, and Flutter, a robust UI framework. This potent combination empowers the app to not only engage users through intelligent conversation initiation, but also to meticulously store these interactions as cherished memories. It further transcends the boundaries of a simple conversation partner by transforming into a comprehensive task and event reminder system,

Challenges we ran into

In the development process, we encountered initial hurdles in securing the appropriate API key and navigating the Google Cloud Console. These elements proved crucial for integrating certain functionalities within the application. However, through diligent research and exploration of available resources, we were able to successfully overcome these challenges.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We take pride in several accomplishments with Ardour AI. Firstly, implementing auto-invocation ensured that Ardour AI proactively engages users after periods of inactivity, fostering continuous interaction. Secondly, integrating GIF replies added a dynamic and expressive element to conversations, enhancing user engagement. Additionally, our system's ability to recognize inputs related to memories, events, and people showcases the sophistication of our AI algorithms, enabling personalized and contextually relevant interactions. These achievements collectively demonstrate our commitment to developing an advanced and user-centric digital companion in Ardour AI, enriching user experiences and fostering meaningful connections.

What we learned

Debugging was like fixing little errors to make sure Ardour AI runs without hiccups. And understanding how AI works internally gave us insight into how Ardour AI learns and grows.
